How it all began ...

2020 I got to be a proud owner of the last of the N80 Toyota Hilux Rugged X Ute`s.

First Mods were the Rhino Roof Rack and the GME UHF Radio.

Didn`t take long to realise myself and every other new owner had no where to put their Radio Mic.

So although there were a couple 3D printed ideas out there, I heard stories of them giving up in heat.

I designed something with a maximum surface contact that would go where you wanted it, close at hand. That meant making it contour fit the shape of the facia.

This led to several variations, left side of the radio, right side and even one on top for a phone.

But.. taking it a step further I designed a combination bracket that could house a phone and a Mic.

Enter the Douuble Decker Mount.

I have had the double Decker mount fitted for about 18 months, been in all conditions and all temperatures, and is still positioned how it was the first day I fitted it
